  • Interwest Equity Assistance Center Located in Denver , Colorado , the Interwest Equity Assistance Center is one of 10 regional Equity Assistance Centers funded by the U.S. Department of Education under Title IV of the 1964 Civil Rights Act. The Educational Equity Center provides training and technical assistance within the larger context of school improvement to public school personnel, school board members, students, parents, and other community members. It assists public school staff in providing equitable, high-quality education to all learners.
